To fully understand Easter, we have to begin with Good Friday. Scripture reminds us that we were spiritually dead because of sin, but through Jesus’s sacrifice, that record was canceled. Still, without the Resurrection, none of it would matter. Easter is the proof. The confirmation that the payment went through and that new life is real. Because Jesus rose, forgiveness is secure, and we are no longer defined by guilt. Now, we’re invited to live differently, not trying to earn what’s already been paid, but stepping into a life that reflects the freedom we’ve been given.
